Cool As A Moose® features unique apparel, gifts and souvenirs in a fun and upbeat atmosphere.
We pride ourselves on being Maine owned and operated, while supporting as many of our fellow Maine companies as possible.
Cool As A Moose was born one night in the small coastal town of Bar Harbor, Maine when creators of the brand were sitting around laughing and enjoying the company of friends. A small sketch of a cartoon moose appeared, and before you know it he had a name and a T-Shirt Shop! That was in 1986.
Today, co-owners, Kip Stone & Ben Dunbar are the caretakers of Hermie the Moose and his brand -- the purveyors of all things Peace, Love & Cool As A Moose.
